In the grand scheme of things, there are truly only three things you take away from your wedding day:

Your rings, your photos, and your video.

Everything else becomes a memory; the venue, floral arrangements, the music, the laughter, the dancing, the crying, and sometimes, even the people. You don’t get to take it all with you when you run through the sparkler exit at the end of the night.

So why do we spend so much on our weddings— just on a single day?

It’s both a celebration and a representation of your love! It is a day that you’ll look back on with joy. It is a day you’ll look back to on hard days when you need a reminder of why you love them. It is an arsenal of moments with your parents and grandparents.

Photos and videos are the only tangible way to keep those memories. Of course we want you to book us for video, but just know that when you choose to trust us with your video, those memories become our utmost priority. Haley + I know that our own wedding day memories will fade, and if the investment in our own wedding video ever helps us to get through a difficult day with each other, it was worth it. One day, when our older family members are gone and we tell our children about our wedding day, having memories in motion will be absolutely invaluable.

Listen, I won’t sugar coat this— you get what you pay for. I guarantee that you can find someone to shoot your wedding for a cheaper price than ours. However, you can’t expect a gourmet burger for fast food pricing.

We charge based on our skill, our equipment, and most importantly— our time. Taking less weddings means we have more time to focus on each couple, which makes for quicker turn around times and a more luxurious experience for you. Our goal once we are hired is for you not to worry at all if we will capture everything you want on your wedding day. We’ve got this!

Of course! Money doesn’t grow on trees. We only require 25% down as your non-refundable retainer, and break the remainder up into three other 25% installment payments. The last installment payment is due one month before your wedding date.

As soon as your retainer is paid and your contract is signed, you can get your engagement or bridal session booked!

All collections include an online downloadable gallery, personal consultation, our special Couples Guide, and access to our professional print products.

We deliver all of our photos and video through an online gallery. You can download your photos directly to your phone and computer. The gallery is super easy to share with family, friends, guests, and vendors!

Great question!

Most couples who ask about RAW footage are afraid that something good will be left out.

But quality and fully edited work is what we promise our couples.

Most people do not have computers or software that can even successfully open true RAW files from the camera equipment that we use.
We never set gallery photo limits or caps—meaning, if it is not a “blurry, blinky, or duplicate,” you will see it in your gallery.
Over the years, we’ve had many couples ask us about RAW video footage as well. The truth of it is, RAW video footage is NOT what you think. Instead, it is typically hundreds of 2-10 second clips from multiple angles of similar content. This means some are bumpy, some are out of focus, and some just straight up are not a flattering angle. Creative freedom is so important to us, and this truly includes being able to choose from multiple clips. We typically don’t shoot longer, straight through clips unless our couples specifically add on services such as uncut ceremony recording, speech footage, or the closest to RAW footage as you can get— our Video Documentary Package.

Aside from the Video Documentary Package, couples who are seeking to see more from their day we recommend the Feature or Deluxe films, as these are longer in length.

Don’t be scared. You’re in good hands. We only send the best. For photo or video only packages, we often send two of our team members. This allows us to remain open for photo + video combo weddings with more moving parts. If another event is not booked on your date, we would be happy to personally shoot for you. Either way, you’re getting our timeless, sought-after editing style, the perfect mixture of candid and posed, all provided by our hand selected and personally trained team. While Haley + Cam might not personally capture your day, they will be the ones personally selecting your photos, hand crafting your videos, and editing things to perfection.

When choosing a video collection that includes audio, we highly recommend that couples choose to share private vows prior the ceremony, write personal vows, or allow us to pre-record their vows or personal letter reading. Our videos are meant to tell your love story and there is an important value that spoken audio brings to your video. We always mic a groom/bride in a tux/suit.
We use small lapel mics. We prefer to mic brides in dresses, but we realize that sometimes dresses are too snug to hide the mic box. This is when we’d encourage a pre-recording but also ask the bride to speak up loudly enough during the ceremony that the officiant’s mic or the spouse’s mic pics up their voice. As a back up, we also always plug in to a sound board when it is available or allowed by the vendor.

You can expect about 75-100 photos for every hour of coverage. It really all depends on content. If you’ve got a super active group that dances all night, expect a few more. If your pup is your ring-bearer, then you can expect a TON more!

General rule: we don’t send blinkies, blurries, or duplicates. Everything else, you’ll get! We don’t set limits!

It is essentially a wedding practice where guests are asked not to use phones, cameras, or other electronics during the ceremony. Maybe you’re thinking “well, duh!”, but you would be so surprised by how often guests pull out their phones during ceremonies! We ask ALL of our couples to have unplugged ceremonies.

Totally up to you! 9 times out of 10, we don’t have a lot of time on your wedding day to snag these photos. If they are important to you, I’d suggest it. It’s also a great chance to knock out your trial hair + makeup and decide if you would like to make any changes before the wedding day! Bridals are complimentary— so why not?
